• WHY DO YOU SELL OUR DATA:

Sound Shroud wants to provide free and anonymous file sharing and needs to maintain server costs. Therefore, we sell user data such as frequent searches commonly provided service to provide customized ads. Transaction information such as CC info is private and only accessible via banking and stripe administration when dealing with transaction issues

• How large of files can be transferred?

3 Audio files up to 30 mins each are transferable in a single transaction. This allows for sharing of short snippets ($) or full audio books chapters ($$$). We believe this size cap allows for the best of both worlds and multiple transactions can be done if more files are necessary

• How does Sound Shroud prevent scamming? Is my payment information secure

The audio files that are presented / playable before transaction are the same files that will be transferred upon successful peer transaction. Stripe integration allows for a professional system to capture and complete transactions. These transactions can be disputed down the line through Stripe

• Is there a limitation on what I can request / post?

Sound Shroud does not limit what can be shared but has administration available if users flag activity as prohibited. Our administration will further review activity for prohibited activity and remove if necessary.
